Traditional Music

Since the first Friday in January 1795 the sound of traditional Irish music has reverberated around the walls of our establishment with the violin, banjo, boran, guitar, pipes, tin whistle, to name but a few of the musical instruments giving a lash once a month with an oul bit of a song thrown in here and there for good measure.

Our visitor book (and if it’s your first visit be sure to sign) bears the names and comments of some of the finest musicians in the land including Brian Vallely, Paddy Reilly, Cathal Hayden and Chris Kavanagh & the Patriots.
